It was like meeting an old friend – but instead of being face-to-face, this time Janet and I could only look at each other through a plasma screen.

This week I’ve finally made some time to dig out my platoon of fluorescent orange external hard drives with all my Ugandan field research on.

They contain over 200 gigabytes of audio and video interviews, and photography.

So this has been the first time that I’ve seen Janet’s smiling face in 3 months. It made me want to go back to Uganda.

It made we wonder how’s she doing. Has she given birth yet? How are her tailoring lessons going?

What can I say? I miss her.

Anyway – the video above is a sneak peak of the kind of multimedia content I’m preparing for the forthcoming Dwog Paco site (Spring 2012).
