Are comics breaking into the mainstream for journalism?

Can the humble comic really be used to tell the very real stories of former child soldiers, women who have been trafficked to the UK, and eyewitnesses from the Ferguson riots?

Well, that’s the very question that Alastair Reid – editor at journalism.co.uk – sought to answer in the superlative podcast below.

I spoke to Alastair ahead of the October release of my own interactive graphic novel about female ex-combatants in Uganda.

The podcast features great insights from the PositivesNegatives team, Dan Archer, and Hasit Shah.

And – spoiler alert – the answer to both questions raised above is an admittedly biased ‘yes’.
